The FINANCIAL — SE Odessa Commercial Sea Port approved the project of construction of a compact grain complex in the rear of the 7th berth, with storing capacity of 70 thsd tonnes. The complex will be able to accept grain cargoes from rail rolling stock, and ship them to vessels, declared the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine on August 7.
According to the announcement, the distinctive feature of the complex include usage of modern sealed transport networks and the facilities for grain shipment and storage, and dust suppression technologies, which work with deodorized and refined edible oils for dust laying.
The modern mooring loading equipment will ensure the minimum level of grain falling under deck, and complete absence of dust. According to ecological and environmental indicators, the new grain terminal will be no worse than the container terminal, informed the Ministry.
