The FINANCIAL — As of April 27, Ukrainian agrarians planted spring grains and pulses throughout the areas of 3.2 mln ha, or 44% of the plan. In particular, Ukraine planted early grains throughout 2.1 mln ha, or 91% of the plan, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
At the same time, Ukraine planted spring wheat throughout 142 thsd ha (101%), spring barley – 1.6 mln ha (90%), oats – 208 thsd ha (88%), and peas – 169 thsd ha (98%).
Ukrainian agrarians continued planting corn – as of April 27, the grain planted areas reached 1.07 mln ha, or 24% of the planned areas, according to APK-Inform.
Also, agrarians planted sunflower seed throughout 1.4 mln ha, or 32% of the forecast, and soybeans – 178 thsd ha (10%).
In addition, agrarians provided additional fertilizing of winter grains throughout 7.2 mln ha (91%), and winter rapeseed – 742 thsd ha (88%).
