The FINANCIAL — The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Arseniy Yatsenyuk commissioned the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and the Trade Representative of Ukraine to elaborate a mechanism to ban the purchase of petroleum products from the Russian Federation, informed the press-service of the Cabinet of Ministers on April 6.
“I request to develop a procedure to prohibit the purchase of petrochemicals from an aggressor country, which is the Russian Federation,” – he stressed.
A.Yatsenyuk added that the decision will be considered at an extraordinary meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on April 8, according to APK-Inform.
It should be noted that according to the customs data, in 2015 the share of the Russian Federation in the imports of petroleum products to Ukraine totaled nearly 20%.
