The FINANCIAL — One Ukrainian company received the quotas for supplying of 5 thsd tonnes of wheat to the EU, which will not be liable to customs duties, declared the Director of the public association “Millers of Ukraine”, Rodion Rybchinskiy on February 4.
Such results indicate the high quality of Ukrainian products, which allow to Ukrainian companies to be competitive on the European market, he said, according to APK-Inform.
In addition, the Director of “Millers of Ukraine” noted that to date, three other companies are passing through the corresponding certification process, which will expand the quotas by nearly 15-17 thsd tonnes.
R.Rybchinskiy explained that the general quotas for supplying of Ukrainian wheat and wheat flour to the EU totaled 900 thsd tonnes. As grain traders completely covered the quotas for wheat by the middle of the year, flour mills simply did not receive any opportunity for exports.
