The FINANCIAL — The Ukrinterenerho state company for foreign economic activities resumed exportation of electric energy to Zomar S.A. Energy Trading Company (Poland), Ukrinterenerho director Valentyn Bondarenko has announced to news reporters in Kyiv.
As to Bondarenko, power capacity of the exported electricity makes some 100 Megawatts.
"Supplies resumed. Augmenting export volumes will allow more load on the domestic power stations," he said.
Ukrinterenerho director said that the price of electricity exported to Poland exceeds the price of electricity sold at the wholesale market and will be revised on monthly basis under a formula taking into account the predicted wholesale market price and also the scale-up factor.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the electricity supplies to Poland were suspended in December 2008.
Zomar S.A. is the contractor of Ukrinterenerho in Poland.
