The FINANCIAL — In January-May period of 2015, the Ukrainian sea ports processed 13.129 mln tonnes of grain cargoes (including 12.878 mln tonnes of grains), an increase of 3.9% compared with the same period of 2014, declared the State Enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority on June 4.
In particular, state stevedoring companies processed 1.465 mln tonnes of grains at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (down 21.9% compared with January-May of 2014), private stevedoring companies at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority – 5.565 mln tonnes (up 31.1%), and stevedoring companies at their own berths – 6.099 mln tonnes (down 6.4%).
In addition, the Sea Commercial Port of Yuzhny processed 3.434 mln tonnes of grain cargoes, up 7.5% compared with the same period of 2014, according to APK Inform.
Also, Odessa Sea Commercial Port transshipped 3.044 mln tonnes of grain cargoes (up 22.9%), Nikolayev Sea Trade Port – 3.03 mln tonnes (up 27.2%), Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk – 2.146 mln tonnes (up 14.1%), Oktyabrsk Port – 718.1 thsd tonnes (down 24.6%), Kherson Port – 279.47 thsd tonnes (down 47.6%), Berdyansk Port – 273.36 thsd tonnes (down 24%), Mariupol Port – 102.16 thsd tonnes (down 58.2%), Reni Port – 67.6 thsd tonnes (down 73.9%), and Izmail Port – 24.68 тыс. тонн (up 435%).
