The FINANCIAL — Taking into account favorable weather conditions in Ukraine, agrarians of two oblasts started the planting campaign of early spring grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on February 24.
As of the reporting date, Odessa oblast planted spring crops throughout the areas of 1.7 thsd ha, Mykolaiv oblast – 0.9 thsd ha, according to APK-Inform.
Also, agrarians provided additional fertilizing works of winter grain crops throughout 1.6 mln ha, or 24% of the forecast (in 2015 – 1.6 mln ha), winter rapeseed – 154.4 thsd ha, or 26% (223 thsd ha).
