Ukraine started planting soybeans

The FINANCIAL — As of April 22, Ukrainian agrarians planted soybeans throughout the areas of 42 thsd ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on April 22.

According to the announcement, 13 oblasts started planting the oilseed – Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Kirovograd, Kherson, Vinnitsa, Kiev, Poltava, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Volyn, Zhytomyr and Lviv oblasts.

The general planted areas under soybeans in Ukraine are forecasted at 1.836 mln ha.
