The FINANCIAL — Ukrainian agrarians started planting winter crops for the harvest-2016, declared Oleksiy Pavlenko, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, on August 19.
To date, agrarians planted winter crops throughout the areas of 86 thsd ha, said the Minister, according to APK Inform.
At the same time, he noted that in the current year, the winter crops planting campaign started later, due to dry weather conditions observed in a number of oblasts, including Kiev, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy and Volyn ones.
