The FINANCIAL — In the near future Ukraine plans to increase the volume of trading with agricultural products with the Islamic Republic of Iran in 5 times, in particular through increasing the supply volumes of domestic grains and sunflower oil, announced Nikolai Prysyazhnyuk, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, on August 12.
He noted that to date Iran takes the 13th position among the countries-importers of Ukrainian agricultural commodities, but has the prospect to reach the 7th position, according to APK-Inform Information Agency.
That is why, Ukraine plans to increase the export volumes of grains, sunflower oil to Iran, and expand the range of exported domestic agricultural products on the Iranian market. Besides, Ukraine is also considering some opportunities for introduction of the national selection achievements of grains and other scientific developments to the agricultural sector of Iran, summed up N.Prysyazhnyuk.
