The FINANCIAL — In January-March of the current year, Ukrainian companies-exporters completely consumed the quotas for duty-free supplying of corn, sugar, barley groats and flour to the European Union, allocated for 2016 period, declared the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Oleksiy Pavlenko on April 6.
He said that according to the “first-in first-out” principle, in January-March period Ukraine supplied 20 thsd tonnes of sugar (100% of the quota), 6.3 thsd tonnes of barley groats and flour (100%), 2.58 thsd tonnes of oats (64.7%), 1.29 thsd tonnes of wheat bran (7.6%) to the EU on tax-free basis.
According to the principle of supplies licensing, Ukraine already exported 400 thsd tonnes of corn (100%), 835.6 thsd tonnes of wheat (88%), 10.9 thsd tonnes of barley (4.4%), 11.4 thsd tonnes chicken (nearly 34%) to the European Union.
