The FINANCIAL — ProCredit Bank hosted a two-day workshop at its head office from 23–24 February, in association with the Netherlands Embassy. The purpose of this unique workshop was to inform investors about new advanced solutions in greenhouse design.
The speakers invited by the Embassy were the first Deputy Minister, Nodar Kereselidze, the Executive Director of GeoWel Research, George Welton, as well as a representative from the Georgian Farmers’ Association.
Among the 25 invited guests were investors interested in investing in the greenhouse industry.
After the two-day workshop, the Embassy is arranging visits to Khobi and Samtredia for the investors from 26–28 February.
The theoretical workshop will be followed by site visits to glass and plastic greenhouses, where the investors will be able to learn about the business in more detail, including the installation of heating, ventilation and irrigation systems as well as climate control mechanisms and other matters related to sophisticated modern greenhouse systems.
ProCredit Bank, which has extensive experience in agricultural financing, places strong emphasis on the widest possible participation of agricultural clients at the workshops in order to inform them about the new technological solutions available in the sector.
