The FINANCIAL — Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) on September 21 announced that UPC has selected Motorola's SBV6120E SURFboard EuroDOCSIS 3.0 Digital Voice Modems to deliver high-speed data and IP voice and services to customers in The Netherlands, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Switzerland.
The SBV6120E EuroDOCSIS 3.0 voice and data solution enables UPC to offer its customers their flagship Fiber Power high-speed data service with speeds of up to 120 Mbps already in some markets.

The SBV6120E is part of Motorola's complete portfolio of bandwidth-expanding EuroDOCSIS 3.0-certified technologies, including customer premises equipment (CPE) and CMTS. Motorola's family of SURFboard modems, eMTAs, and gateways enables operators to cost-effectively introduce new value-added services, increase bandwidth for feature-rich services, leverage existing infrastructure for a higher return on investment, and increase revenues; all without service interruption.
