The FINANCIAL — The representatives of the Turkish Armed Forces and National Defence Ministry visited the MoD of Georgia on April 28, according to MOD of Georgia.
Defence Minister of Georgia Mindia Janelidze and Chief of General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces, Major General Vakhtang kapanadze hosted the delegation led by Chief of Staff of Land Forces of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Ihsan Uyar.
At the meeting the sides discussed ongoing bilateral defence cooperation and future directions. The Georgian side focused on the importance of the Turkish delegation’s visit to Georgia. Deepening cooperation in security issues were also discussed at the meeting. The sides referred to hold joint trainings and share experience in military education sphere.
The MoD top brass attended the meetings with Defence Minister and Chief of General Staff as well.
