The FINANCIAL — Company Rompetrol Georgia, which frequently organizes social events, is pleased to give a fresh start to the well known “We draw Rompetrol” action. This time it will start 1 August in the Georgian region of Adjara, located in amphitheatre surroundings.
Various artists, animators and cartoon characters will entertain the children there. Together they’ll draw/write pictures/graffiti thus supporting vulnerable and orphaned children. The event will start at 1 pm.
Children willing to participate in this event will be equipped with the necessary drawing skills of a beginner, thereafter given diplomas for participation. Those children will be given the opportunity to sing, bounce, play, and share their happiness with the orphan children.
The action and its motto, “Act as a Painter and Draw Rompetrol”, was held in different cities throughout Georgia last year.
“We want to enlarge the scale of our actions by reaching Adjara this year. We want to dedicate the day to children, especially orphans, in order to make their lives more enjoyable. With this aim, we will hold a “Draw Rompetrol” every Sunday of the month of August in different cities throughout Georgia,” General Director of Rompetrol told The FINANCIAL.
The next location for the event after Batumi will be Gori, then Borjomi, the Zoo and Tskneti, on August 8, 15, 22 and 29 respectively. After the month is over an exhibition of those drawings will be displayed in September, part of them will be sold and the money earned will then be donated to disabled/orphaned/homeless children.
The abovementioned project will be held within the frames of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) agenda, Rompetrol’s so-called “Future of Our Energy”.
