The FINANCIAL — Western Union (NYSE: WU), one of the global leaders in money transfer services, announced on January 19 it has selected Bromley Communications as its U.S. Hispanic marketing communications partner.
The decision was made after completing a thorough search for marketing agencies to manage the company's marketing initiatives to the U.S. Hispanic consumer segment.
"Bromley Communications has a solid understanding of our Hispanic consumers and the unparalleled value of our brand," said Juan Pablo Valdes, U.S. Hispanic Marketing Director for Western Union. "The Bromley team brings passion to align our global brand and shape it to connect with Hispanics."
Bromley will support media planning and buying, account management and creative development to engage the company's broad and diverse Hispanic consumers who rely on Western Union services for both domestic and global money transfers.
Bromley Communications was previously Western Union's Hispanic agency of record from 1995 through 2002. During that period, the agency managed advertising, promotions, public relations and field marketing for both domestic and foreign products and services.
Ernest Bromley, president of Bromley Communications, added, "Neither the Hispanic market nor the money transfer business are static. As a result, we push ourselves to be forward thinking, but also fast to react to changes. It's a great honor to be brought back into the Western Union family of agencies."
