The FINANCIAL — Most voters like Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton’s ambitious plan to combat global warming but admit the issue isn’t of high importance to their voting decisions.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 56% of Likely U.S. Voters think Clinton’s plan to increase the amount of electricity generated by renewable energy sources to 33% by 2027 will be good for the economy. Twenty-three percent (23%) think the plan will be bad for the economy, while 12% say it will have no impact, according to Rasmussen Reports.
The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on July 28-29, 2015 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.
