The FINANCIAL — Wincor Nixdorf has been commissioned by Danske Bank with the provision of Managed Services for the bank’s 200 automated teller machines in Sweden.
"The agreement, which has a term of two years and takes effect on January 1, 2011, covers the complete operation of the self-service systems plus cash management services. Danske Bank’s goal with this project is to achieve a reduced administration effort while maintaining a high level of customer service," Wincor Nixdorf reported.
The services covered by the agreement comprise IT monitoring, helpdesk services, on-site and cash management services, including the optimization of cash holdings for each ATM and the steering of Cash-in-Transit (CiT) companies. The bank’s ambition is that all of the self-service systems under contract will be replenished by Loomis Sweden, in order to ensure maximum security for the bank’s personnel.
Danske Bank has a wide-ranging network of branches, thus, a simple and uniform administration of all its ATMs was a very important point. The service contract concluded with Wincor Nixdorf was the result of many years of teamwork that grew into a partnership. "Through the coordination of all maintenance services, we expect that the new agreement will lead to sustained high levels of service for our customers and reduced administration for us", says Torbjörn Pettersson, ATM Manager at Danske Bank.
