The FINANCIAL — Wissol was named as The Petrol Station of November month by Modern Petrol Station Magazine. The award was taken for superior design, newest technological and technical solutions and for wide variety service offering.
“The success of Wissol was governed by the international standards we operate. Each construction is by considering all international standards and safety norms. We have daily control on our product and have leading edge technology for providing the exact measurement of petrol. Moreover, we care for creating infrastructure for petrol stations and do our best to create maximum comfort for our customers,” says Pkhakadze.
The competition is conducted in Easter European Countries and in CIS (The Comonwealth of Independent States). Within the owners of these certificates are Poland, Romania, Estonia, Ukraine, and Russian Petrol Stations.
The headquarter of the magazine is in Russia and the regional offices are located in Ukraine and Germany.
“In 2010 Wissol is planning to expand its chain, adding up to 15 petrol stations throughout Georgia, making total investment of 10 million GEL, the concentration will be made more out of Tbilisi” says Samson Pkhakadze, Chairman of the Wissol Board of Directors.
“We offer everyday product that is probably the main reason that our sector turned out to be one of those who had strong immunity and had carried economic crisis relatively easily.” He says.
The prices of petrol will remain constant within several weeks. The cheapest price for gasoline starts from 1.6 GEL and for gas 1.1 GEL.
Wissol has changed names of its products recently introducing new brand name ENERGY for its cheapest gasoline product and Diesel. Company also broadly advertised API brand adding this name to all premium products.
Company provides 6 types of fuel: API Super (98.5) GEL 1,85, API Premium (95,8) GEL 1,75, API diesel (Cetane index 51) GEL 1,75, Euro Regular (94) GEL 1,62, Regular Energy (92) GEL 1,60, Diesel Energy (Cetane index 45) GEL 1,60 and compressed natural gas (CNG) GEL 1,1.
However, future changes in the price will be depended on the global market, company’s CEO said.
Wissol is the only company in Georgia that has international quality control certificate ISO 9001 since 2008.
“The renovation for the ISO 9001 certificate is every year, the last renew for the certificate was ended two weeks ago” says Pkhakadze.
Wissol is operating 75 petrol stations, within them 35 in Tbilisi and 40 in regions. During 2009 the company opened 15 petrol stations making total investment of 20 million GEL.
