The FINANCIAL — Last week the Association of Oil Products Producers, Importers and Consumers awarded Wissol as the winner of the most nominations in 2007 oil sector awards at the Merab Berdzenishvili Culture International Center "Muza". The event is of a traditional character and it is held for the fourth time already.
The Wissol Petroleum Georgia won in the nominations of: the company with the widest network of own fueling stations; the company with the widest network of fueling stations under its trademark; the company with the highest level of services at its fueling stations; the biggest employer company within the oil sector; the company with the best infrastructure and the company with the high social responsibilities.
`Every award is an honour and recognition of the company’s achievements. In 2007 we have received over 10 awards that make us very proud. At the same, a significant component in any successful corporate stories is an enhanced responsibility towards all stakeholders and especially towards our valued and loyal customers. In 2006 Wissol Petroleum Georgia was named as the biggest tax payer in the Georgian state budget from the oil sector, in 2007 the company paid 75,731 million GEL.
