The FINANCIAL — Wizz Air on June 17 announced a new summer route from Budapest to Varna commencing on 3 August with two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Starting from 2 August, Wizz Air will have three weekly flights between Budapest and Palma de Mallorca on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, as well as two weekly flights to the newest summer WIZZ destination – Ibiza. The maiden flight from Budapest to Ibiza is departing this Saturday with an impressive number of 214 booked passengers and starting from August, the route will be operated with two weekly services on Tuesdays and Saturdays, according to Wizz Air.
With the newest service, Wizz Air now offers a total of 51 routes to 22 countries from Budapest, providing the broadest and most diverse low-fare network in the region. In total in 2016 WIZZ already announced and will launch 11 new routes from Budapest to Nice, Baden-Baden, Reykjavik, Liverpool, Ibiza, Varna, Bucharest, Sofia, Porto, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.
