Wizz Air Grows Passenger Numbers by 16%

The FINANCIAL — Wizz Air Holdings Plc on May 4 announces passenger statistics for April 2016. 

In April 2016, Wizz Air continued to expand its customer offering and strengthen its network with the following announcements:

The establishment of a new base in Sibiu, Romania, Wizz Air’s 25th base and seventh in the country.

Expanding its network to 123 airports with services to/from two new stations in Suceava in Romania and Olsztyn-Mazury in Poland. 

The launch of 13 new routes to/from Romania (x6), Poland (x4), Hungary (x2), and Serbia (x1).
