Wizz Air Grows Passenger Numbers By 24% Major Expansion in Vienna

The FINANCIAL — Wizz Air Holdings Plc on February 5 announces passenger statistics for January 2018.

In January 2018, Wizz Air continued to expand its network, operations and customer offering with the following announcements:

Vienna to become the WIZZ network’s 145 airport and Austria it’s 44 country with a major base announcement, placing three brand new Airbus A320 family aircraft and opening 17 new routes to 15 countries from June 2018.

Route network expansion with 18 new routes announced to/from Austria (17x) and Poland (1x).
