In October 2016, Wizz Air continued to expand its network, strengthen its customer offering and operations with the following announcements:
New base in Chisinau in Moldova, Wizz Air’s 26th base starting in March 2017.
Base expansion with a 7th new aircraft in Warsaw from June 2017.
Network expansion with 12 new routes to/from Poland (x9), Moldova (x2) and Ukraine (x1) and the new destination to/from Santander in Spain, Wizz Air’s 130th airport.
Operational expansion with a new fixed base simulator installed in Budapest.
