The FINANCIAL — Wizz Air on January 16 launches another exciting route from its Vilnius base.
The newest WIZZ service connects the Lithuanian capital with Grenoble in France and, starting today, will operate on Saturdays. Seats on the route are on sale from EUR 19.99 on wizzair.com.
Located in southeastern France, Grenoble is a popular destination among winter sport lovers, who can enjoy the region’s excellent cuisine and bubbling nightlife while spending an active yet relaxing holiday in the beautiful Alps. Besides Grenoble, WIZZ will also start low-fare routes from Vilnius to Warsaw and Gothenburg in 2017, according to Wizz Air.
Wizz Air has four aircraft and over 100 local, customer-oriented crew based in the Lithuanian capital. The airline offer flights from Kaunas and Palanga as well. In 2016, WIZZ carried 1.2 million passengers on its low fare Lithuanian routes, supporting over 900** local jobs. Wizz Air now offers a total of 30 routes from Lithuania, providing affordable access to the rest of Europe for both business and leisure travellers.
