The FINANCIAL -- George Washington and Thomas Jefferson are the latest victims as the politically correct expand their war on America’s past, but a sizable majority of Americans remain proud of that past and proud of their country.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 83% of American Adults are proud to be an American. Just seven percent (7%) are not. These findings have changed little in surveys for years. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
The survey of 1,000 American Adults was conducted on July 7-8, 2019 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.
