The FINANCIAL -- Euro area annual inflation is expected to be 1.4% in March 2019, down from 1.5% in February according to a flash
estimate from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
Looking at the main components of euro area inflation, energy is expected to have the highest annual rate in March
(5.3%, compared with 3.6% in February), followed by food, alcohol & tobacco (1.8%, compared with 2.3% in
February), services (1.1%, compared with 1.4% in February) and non-energy industrial goods (0.2%, compared
with 0.4% in February).
