Dimitry Kumsishvili on Official Visit to Belarus

The FINANCIAL -- First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili is on a working visit to the Republic of Belarus. Within the frames of the visit, the First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Dimitry Kumsishvili will have a meeting with the Prime Minister of Belarus, Andrei Kobyakov.

The First Vice Prime Minister, Dimitry Kumsishvili, together with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Mikhail Rusyi, will participate in the session of the Georgia-Belarus Intergovernmental Economic Commission. Following the session, a protocol of the meeting will be signed. A joint briefing for the Belarus media of Dimitry Kumsishvili and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Mikhail Rusyi is also scheduled.

Within the frames of the visit, Dimitry Kumsishvili will also have meetings at the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, the company Minsk Crystal, the Chinese-Belarus Industrial Park “Grand Stone”, the agro-union “Ozernetski-Agro” and the agro tourism complex “White Elk”.

In the frames of the visit, the First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Dimitry Kumsishvili will also participate in the award ceremony in which the awards will be handed over to the Minister of Emergency Situations of Belarus, Vladimir Vashchenko and the Belarus emergency response group for the provided assistance during the fire prevention works in Borjomi, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.

First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili will return to Georgia on 1 February.
