The FINANCIAL — President Viktor Yuschenko and Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko have discussed the problems of the financial balance of the Naftohaz Ukrainy national joint-stock company and the preparations for Euro 2012, the Cabinet of Ministers said.
On Monday, the president and the prime minister also discussed the issues on the acquisition of Russian gas for the underground gas storage facilities.
Besides, they discussed the government and central back’s work over the settlement of the recapitalization of commercial banks, financial and reconstruction of important cultural heritage facilities.
Tymoshenko said that the negotiation was constructive.
Tymoshenko said that Yuschenko and she work as a team to tackle these problems.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Yuschenko accuses Tymoshenko of poor financial state of Naftohaz Ukrainy and considers it necessary to lower the tax burden on the company.
