The FINANCIAL — Schaumburg, Ill. – Zurich, one of the leading property and casualty insurance providers globally and in North America, today announced its Global Corporate in North America Marine operation has appointed Michael A. Perrotti head of Marine property and casualty and Inland Marine, and Joseph C. Howe as assistant vice president, underwriting.
Cleveland-based Perrotti will be responsible for developing the Marine property whole account solution and building out Zurich's mono-line Inland Marine capabilities. Howe will be based in New York and will be responsible for large account underwriting, business development, strategic initiatives and Marine training. Both will report to Sean M. Dalton, head of Marine for Zurich Global Corporate in North America.
Perrotti has extensive Marine underwriting experience, most recently with The Hartford Insurance Group. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from St. John's University School of Insurance.
Howe has more than 30 years of experience in Marine underwriting, and comes to Zurich from ACE Insurance Company. He holds a bachelor's of science degree from Western Illinois University.
