The FINANCIAL — NEW YORK – Accenture announced that global insurer Zurich has expanded its use of Accenture Duck Creek Policy for their general insurance business in the United Kingdom. The new system will help enable Zurich to more rapidly develop, deploy and process insurance products and improve customer service across multiple lines of business, according to Accenture.

Accenture Duck Creek Policy software supports the entire policy life cycle process from point of sale through to renewal. The flexible and modern architecture of the platform will enhance Zurich’s existing infrastructure and enable Zurich to streamline processes, define workflows and provide flexibility in managing products, helping to improve the overall efficiency of the operating model and sales distribution channels.

The Accenture Duck Creek Suite includes Duck Creek Billing, Claims and Policy solutions, which can be implemented individually or as part of a broader migration strategy. The award-winning suite is designed to help property and casualty insurers of all sizes to improve customer service and lower costs by enabling them to configure products, transact lines of business and process claims more efficiently, according to Accenture.
