The FINANCIAL — It is the third year since Development Solutions, a company established by Georgian and foreign investors, entered the real estate market of Georgia. Today, it is one of the leading development companies in the country.
Exclusive projects of DS, which are the company’s visit cards are being realized for local, foreign businessmen, tourists, Tbilisi residents and simply, for any person willing to live, work and relax in accordance with modern standards, plus exquisite style. Each product of the company is ultra modern and is created not only in accordance with the style of the current period but for the distant future too.
At present the company is realizing projects in Tbilisi and Adjara. The first is Iveria, a hotel on Republic Square which is planned to be redesigned into a “4+” star hotel. It will be operated by one of the leading international brands Radisson SAS. Reconstruction will be completed in Spring 2009. The project involves not only financial investment but huge effort and intellectual resources too. The façade of the building will be decorated with very expensive bronze tiles, which after time will acquire the interesting effect of “old” metal. The upper part of the building will also be exclusive, where a spa zone, a new and unique thing for Tbilisi, will be situated.
The company is also working on modernizing Rose Revolution Square. The project is considering reconstruction of a two hectare land plot in the area where historical buildings of Tbilisi are located. Amusement and trade centres are planned to be built there. The infrastructure of road-transport will be arranged. In one word, everything will be done to make one appreciate the new modern and comfortable surroundings. The project will not affect Melik Kazarianji’s house, which is the biggest advantage of the project – the old façade will be like a pearl in the huge and ultra modern complex.
Development Solutions is oriented not only on commercial, office and hotel areas, but residential complexes too, e.g. Sakanela Street, where a high quality elite residential complex will be located by 2010, with outstanding façades (after the current buildings are removed). The first floor of the building will be allocated for commercial areas, recreation fitness centres, parking and technical services.
The former building of Post-Telegraph is also next door. Currently, the company is working on the design and concept to make the Post building one of the most prestigious business centres around.
Interestingly, the mentioned projects are all located close to each other and will make one united style, which will ultimately change the central zone of Tbilisi. A complex approach, high quality standards and the most refined taste are what make DS projects exclusive.
