The FINANCIAL — “Summer is already geared up so just pick up your Pirveli Card and drive with confidence, as travelling with Wissol this hot summer is more attractive as Pirveli Card owners now have the opportunity to get a 5-50% discount at about 20 entertainment and rest facilities in the Adjara region year-round,” Nino Dgvepadze, Wissol Marketing Director, states.
Q. “Be loyal and get more” is the slogan of Wissol’s Pirveli Card. What is it that Wissol offers to its customers for their loyalty?
A. Wissol offered its Pirveli Card several months back and this card is already allowing our loyal customers to get discounts on the very first litre of the high quality Italian fuel created for the Western European market that they buy. The new discount system has become more important as the prices on oil keep rising and customers can now save about 11 tetri per litre, which amounts to fairly attractive savings in a month. Wissol is offering interesting surprises to the active users of Pirveli cards as well.
In 2007 Wissol introduced its loyalty program and offered a new product to its customers – the Pirveli Card – which is a discount card for retail customers. The Pirveli Card has become a popular product and is already used by 25,000 drivers. The company made the strategic decision to create a loyalty program for individual customers based on client satisfaction surveys and market research. Wissol made the solid investment to create the program specially designed for Georgian customers. According to the strategic marketing tool – customer base – Wissol is set to have dialogue with its customers soon as well. Wissol has promised to offer interesting value added-services and special initiatives for its loyal customers and this new summer project with Adjara partners is part of the company’s ‘love your customer’ campaign.
As a part of the loyalty campaigns we will soon reveal the most active traveller of the summer season by tracking the driver’s use of the card nationwide. So the Pirveli Card is a top-of-the-wallet-card for those who travel and take holidays frequently.
Q. What were the criteria for choosing partners for the Adjara project and who are they?
A. All the leading and best-loved hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs and other entertainment places enthusiastically joined the project as this is a widely used way of cooperation and benefits all stakeholders. Additionally Wissol offers a secure and flexible system of service. Wissol’s loyal customers can enjoy discounts in Euro Park, Hotel David, Hotel Light House, Sanatorium-Hotel Oasis, Hotel Bakuri, Hotel Bon, Hotel G-Bakuri, Hotel L-Bakuri, Hotel Tanamgzavri, Hotel Selected Vila, Auztan (swimming pool) café bar, Acharuli Sakhli (Acharian House) restaurant, Veranda restaurant, Panorama café bar, Beer House, Megrelian-Lazuri restaurant, Chinese café Golden Lion, and Chinese restaurant Golden Lion. Interest in getting involved in the project is growing from other recreation and entertainment companies as well.
Q. Are there any products similar to the Pirveli Card on the Georgian market?
A. Wissol was the first company to introduce the cumulative discount card for retail customers in the Georgian market. The special attraction of the card is that the Pirveli Card is not linked to any bank, which means that the customer of any bank can become a Pirveli Card holder. Pirveli Card customers are free to choose the form of payment; payments can be made with cash or with any credit or debit plastic card of any Georgian bank. This is an instant discount card that records the consumed amount of fuel, and the discount is from 1-5%. The Pirveli Card can be purchased at any Wissol branded service station nationwide, at the head office of the company in Tbilisi or at the Batumi service centre.
Wissol was the first company to introduce the plastic card system. In 2001, plastic cards were still a new feature in the financial sector of Georgia. As an innovator company, Wissol made the right choice in creating an advanced and reliable chip-based plastic card system for serving corporate clients. We have eight years of experience, and these years were not a period of self-gratification; we took care of more then 4,200 corporate customers from the top business companies, embassies, international organizations, international foundations, the governmental sector, and SMEs, and provided advance services to them so as to be permanently upgrading the system.
Wissol was and always will be a company of innovations. We are piloting several services at the moment which will benefit our clients and we will inform The FINANCIAL’s readers about the new projects in the very near future. Just wait for the surprises from Wissol!
