A renovated showroom of “Porsche Center Tbilisi” has opened on Agmashenebeli Alley. As a result of its visual and conceptual renovation, the space is organized according to the latest and contemporary standards of the German brand.
Representatives of the Porsche headquarters came from Germany especially for the opening ceremony.
“I am glad that today we are hosting our guests in the renovated showroom of Porsche Center Tbilisi,” notes Petre Tsakadze, director of the Center. “In a
ccordance with the concept of Porsche, we are also focused on ongoing development, and I think the new center is a bright example of that. We invested nearly 20 million GEL in its construction, an unprecedented sum for such projects in the Georgian market. We are committed to making the purchase of a car an even better experience for customers of the German premium brand. We are glad that our new showroom will allow us to fully present the brand to Georgian fans of Porsche.”
Porsche Center Tbilisi, a subsidiary of Tegeta Holding, worked on the renovation of the showroom for nine months. The innovative service center was built in partnership with TBC.
“Since the establishment of Tegeta Holding, we have been the main financial partners and supporters of the company,” said George Tkhelidze, TBC Bank deputy CEO of Corporate, Investment Banking and Wealth Management. “The history of our cooperation counts more than 20 years. We are happy and proud to have implemented another major project with an unconditional leader in the auto industry. Tegeta brings international standards and high-quality services to the Georgian market, along with automobile brands and models, and introduces numerous innovations. The Porsche brand is an example of this.”
The supporters of the opening event for the renovated Porsche Center Tbilisi showroom were the new brand “Primo” of insurance company Aldagi, and the global leader of digital payments, Mastercard.
Each detail of the opening ceremony was tailored to the concept of the showroom. A stage set up in front of the building showed off a white Porsche Taycan. Customization to different colors for the latest model has become possible with the help of modern technologies.
The 1990s Porsche 964 was also on display. The work was integrated with Augmented Reality, connecting the physical and digital worlds. Anyone wishing to view the installation could use a special application created by artists Giorgi Tkebuchava and Teona Kokhodze.
The latest and classic Porsche models were presented directly in the exhibition space. A prominent place was occupied by the Porsche Carrera GT. The model, which was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2003, was produced in a limited number of only 1,270 units.
A concert of Georgian artists was also held on the territory of the new service center. Nikoloz Rachveli and the symphony orchestra performed compositions for the guests, as did Beka Gochiashvili and Giorgi Tsagareli.
Approximately 700 guests attended the opening ceremony.
Showroom divided into conceptual spaces
The Porsche Center Tbilisi building covers an area of 1800 square meters and combines both exhibition and service spaces.
A wide range of accessories is presented in the showroom, along with a model range of German brand cars. Customers will have the opportunity to view the latest and exclusive models, experience the bold style of Porsche and, if desired, select the exterior and interior of the vehicle to their own taste with the help of the Configurator.
The new service center Porsche Center Tbilisi was built as the hub of Porsche service in the region according to German standards. All the technical services needed for vehicle maintenance are combined in thirteen different spaces, among them the electrics, chassis and engine directions, and “quick service.”
In Porsche’s sustainable development strategy, its line of electric cars is a priority. Therefore, in the new service center, a separate space has been allocated for electric models, with full servicing available. Highly qualified, certified Porsche mechanics serve customers with German standard equipment and tools in the new service center.
Eight Porsche electric chargers were installed on the territory of the renovated showroom, and up to 40 cars can be accommodated in the modern parking lot, the area of which is 400 square meters.
Destination Porsche – internal and external design
The design of the renovated showroom of Porsche Center Tbilisi was created according to German standards. White is the dominant color in the open space, which is further enhanced by an original lighting system. The combination of aluminum and wood textures makes the environment warm and comfortable. The new large-scale space was equipped with modern audio and video systems.
Construction company Gravita started work on the renovation of the Porsche Center Tbilisi showroom in November 2021. Full construction management was provided by LSG solutions. According to the standards of the German brand, the office part has been completely renovated and an exhibition space was added to the showroom. The room was specially equipped for the selection of individual designs, where a wide variety of different materials and colors is on display.
Porsche Center Tbilisi offers high-quality services tailored to the individual needs of customers of the German premium brand.
Porsche Center Tbilisi is a company included in Tegeta Holding, which has been operating on the Georgian market since 2011. The company offers the latest premium brand vehicles, as well as full diagnostic and repair services, and original parts and accessories. In addition to the showroom, customers have the opportunity to assemble a model of their desired set according to their own taste, on the company’s website, with the help of the Configurator. Their perfect Porsche can then be delivered direct to Porsche Center Tbilisi.
