The FINANCIAL — An exceptional HEC Paris Board of Directors meeting, chaired by Jean-Paul VERMÈS, President of the Board of HEC Paris, was held on the 12th of October 2020, following the resignation of Peter TODD, Dean of HEC Paris, on the 30th of September 2020, for health reasons.
During the Board meeting, the directors expressed their gratitude and warmly thanked Peter TODD for his remarkable leadership over the past five years, which has brought HEC to the highest global standards.
They extended their warmest wishes to Peter TODD for a rapid and lasting recovery. During the Board meeting, it was unanimously decided to entrust the interim management of HEC Paris to Professor Éloïc PEYRACHE for a period of nine months.
During this interim period, the search committee in charge of proposing the Board of Directors with a candidate for the position of HEC Dean/Director General, will continue its work started this summer.
Éloïc PEYRACHE is a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure de Paris-Saclay, associate professor of economics, with a master’s degree in mathematical economics and econometrics from Toulouse School of Economics (TSE). He obtained his doctorate in Economics in 2003. He has been a visiting doctoral student at Northwestern University in Chicago (2000) and at the Université Autonoma de Barcelone (2001).
Eloïc PEYRACHE arrived at HEC in 2003 and is currently Dean of Programs, heavily involved in equal opportunities initiatives as well as the HEC entrepreneurship center.
