The FINANCIAL — In February 2009, imports of flour fell by 81.1% or 1,533 tons compared to February 2008, to 357 tons for USD 0.152 million, a source in the Cabinet of Ministers has informed Ukrainian News.
In February 2009, flour imports rose by a factor of 4.9 or by 284 tons, compared to January 2009.
In January-February 2009, imports of flour fell by 77.8% or 1,937 tons compared to January-February 2008, to 553 tons for USD 0.528 million.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in January 2009 imports of flour fell by 51.7% or 78 tons compared to January 2008, to 73 tons for USD 0.423 million.
In 2008, imports of flour fell by 66.7% or 24,596 tons compared to 2007, to 12,265 tons for USD 4.325 million.
