The FINANCIAL — ISS Facility Services Food and Hospitality has won a 10-year deal to cater for 5,000 people working the White Rose Office Park in Leeds.
Worth £1.5m a year, the contract will see ISS provide restaurant, hospitality and conference and banqueting services to the Yorkshire business park, the largest single employment area in the region.
Tenants, including 02 Telefónica, HSBC, Du Poy, WSP and the Inland Revenue, will have access to the 20,000sq ft central hub restaurant.
The contract was won following a competitive tender managed by Coverpoint on behalf of owner Munroe K Asset Management.
Andy Chappell, managing director of ISS Facility Services Food and Hospitality, said that the White Rose business has propelled ISS into the commercial catering marketplace.
"This is an exciting contract at an office park continually growing in scale and playing an important role as a focal point of business activity in the region," he added. "We will work together with Munroe K and Coverpoint to ensure a seamless transition and the delivery of our personalisation proposition that ensures an interesting and evolving menu for diners."
Jonathan Doughty, managing director of food service consultancy Coverpoint, said: "The significance of the Hub Building at the White Rose Office Park cannot be overstated. Our new food service partner, ISS, has mobilised to the very highest standard and the client team are delighted by the standards of operation already."
