Games of Thrones star Kit Harington makes his modelling debut for Jimmy Choo’s autumn/winter 2014 campaign.
What a relief getting in front of the camera without a long cloak and several layers of dirt-infested fur for must be for Kit Harington.
As Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, the actor spends his scenes squinting into blizzards and carrying his world on his back as one of the men of Night’s Watch.
But his latest signing as the face of Jimmy Choo sees the 27-year-old flash a bit of mankle in sunny Beverly Hills as he models the label’s autumn/winter 2014 collection.
Captured by Peter Lindberg at a plush private residence, Worcester-born Harington said the shoot was “great fun and the location was stunning with panoramic views across LA and working with Peter was an amazing experience, he is such a talented photographer and gave great direction.”
Harington, who is forced to keep his locks long and luscious for as long as he stars in the award-winning series, also serves as the face of Jimmy Choo’s debut men’s fragrance, MAN, and the Carrera by Jimmy Choo sunglasses capsule collection.
In turn, the brand’s creative director, Sandra Choi, complimented Harington’s “innate confidence” and “playfully rebellious nature” and called him a “true gentleman”.
At the latest instalment of London Collections: Men, the actor told GQ that he doesn’t posses “the right bone structure or height to be a model” but had been treated “so bloody well” by the brand that he would consider campaign modelling again.
