The FINANCIAL — Morgan Stanley on June 13 announced that it has opened a third Miami office dedicated to serving clients residing in Latin America.
The office, located at 1111 Brickell Avenue, Suite 1400, oversees nearly $7 billion in assets under management. It is staffed by 13 teams of International Client Advisors (ICAs), most of whom joined Morgan Stanley from Credit Suisse, which formerly occupied the site. The office employs 61 people in total, including 22 client advisors.
The office reports to Miami Complex Manager Kevin McCarty and is supervised by Branch Manager Cristian Gonzalez Lami, who has over 20 years of experience in the wealth management industry, most recently at Credit Suisse, where he headed the Miami private banking office. He began his career at Citi and worked in his home country of Argentina for Deutsche Bank, according to Morgan Stanley.
This is Morgan Stanley’s third office in Miami dedicated to serving the wealth management needs of clients who reside outside the U.S. The other offices are located at 200 South Biscayne Blvd., Suite 5100, and 201 South Biscayne Blvd., Suite 2000.
James Jesse, Head of International Wealth Management, said, “We are pleased to launch this latest office dedicated to meeting the offshore wealth management needs of Latin American clients. Our International Client Advisors specialize in serving this market, which presents a significant opportunity for growth. We look forward to further expansion in this office as well as the introduction of significant new resources to meet the needs of our non-resident clients.”
