“Culinary as a journey in the world flavors”- with this notion, Tekuna Gachechiladze has been hosting people from different countries, cultures and interest for a number of years.
Her signature is distinctive, yet flavors are familiar and loved. She usually gets inspired while traveling or visiting exhibitions of various restaurants. The diverse taste and visual culture serve as the main inspiration which led to the idea of a tandem of Georgian and foreign dishes.
This time, she created novelties and full menu for “Bazzar” – an exclusive boutique-type, 20-room cozy hotel in the heart of Tbilisi, on Pkhovi Street that will charm anyone.
Tekuna tailored a new, bistro-type concept to Bazzar’s foreign and unique design. The restaurant already hosts those who admire interesting and delicious dishes. There is an outstanding assortment of Georgian and foreign wines in the Bazaar, including French, New Zealand and Chilean wines. On weekends, a special menu and a special offer will also be available.
Hotel “Bazzar” is the first project of major importance for “Smart Capital Group” in the hospitality industry. Innovative concept created with the investments of the group, gained international recognition in no time with its design-oriented rooms, restaurants, bar and other spaces. In 2022, “Bazar” hotel was named among the best new hotels in the world by Forbes international edition.
Hotel Bazzar is indeed positioned on the crossing point between history and modernity. The team and designers working on the project were selected with exceptional consideration. It was a huge responsibility to materialize the idea with the contribution of exceptionally talented people. The team was selected under the huge scrutiny: design by Eka Chachua and Nino Nozadze, staff uniform design by Tatuna Nikolaishvili, name and branding by Liza Asatiani, Landscaping design by Tatuka Japaridze, “Lalage” company.
