The FINANCIAL – According to RIA Novosti, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk on November 13 for a State Council meeting on developing Russia's transport infrastructure.
At the session of the presidium of the State Council, a presidential advisory body, Putin will consider proposed schemes for local and national transport links. The council will brief the president on the construction of a new highway into Krasnoyarsk, Siberia's third largest city.
Putin will also meet with the Krasnoyarsk Territory's governor, Alexander Khloponin, and visit two local universities, where he will meet with lecturers and students.
