The FINANCIAL — Redix, a local developer, opened a new sales office in Telavi on June 1, 2008. The company is the first developer to have started construction in the regional town. The sales office is situated at Marjanishvili Str. # 4.
The complex will be a European standard building with commercial and residential space. Redix strategy is to provide ready-made apartments for clients. Elements of interior design will be on offer to the customers.
According to Mzia Sharashidze, PR Manager of Redix, the selling process of these apartments and commercial spaces will begin from the moment the sales office is open. The starting price of a square/m is USD 1,265.
“In general the price of a square/m depends on the disposal of the apartment. Apartments located on upper floors cost more than those on lower ones. Since electricity problems are mainly resolved nowadays people concentrate more on living in beautiful and clean environments,” Sharashidze added.
According to Lasha Papashvili, General Director of Redix, Kakheti is a region with a great future in tourism.
“I think that Telavi will become an active and developed centre of tourism. European standard buildings and constructions are very important for the regions. We must create a level of comfort for the inhabitants of the region,” Papashvili added.
As Sharashidze noted, Redix is to start construction of a net of hotels in Sighnaghi and Bakuriani.
“Telavi is the biggest city in Eastern Georgia, that’s why Redix decided to build in this town. Many people are making business in Telavi especially wine companies which are a very important segment of Georgian business. Besides these towns, Redix will build 20 comfortable villas in the Pines of Kobuleti and in Abastumani,” Sharashidze declared.
Redix already has projects in Tbilisi, and is constructing a complex on Vazha Pshavela Avenue. The complex on Vazha Pshavela will be finished by the end of 2008 and all residents will be able to move in then. A special event will be held to mark the occasion.
The complex has a commercial, residential, public and entertainment complex on Vazha Pshavela Avenue. Square/m cost between USD 1,300 and USD 1,500.
In the first quarter of 2008, the sales indexes of Redix increased by 380%.
The company has already sold 60% of the apartments at BCV and the other 40% will be sold by the end of 2008, by that period the complex will be finished.
Redix has started implementation of the brand project Ch 64. The building constructed through the smart house principle is located at 64 Chavchavadze Ave.
“Redix is oriented on the Vake project as well. A new complex is being built there and it will be a unique project, as it is being constructed by smart house principle. Home Automation, also called Domotics, is the future. It has been around for many years now and several ‘houses of the future’ are being built to introduce it to the public,” Mzia Sharashidze, Public Relations Manager of Redix, declared to The FINANCIAL.
