The FINANCIAL — On May 3, the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery and Paris-based Air Liquide signed license, engineering and guarantee agreements within the framework of measures implemented for the reconstruction and modernization of the refinery.
David Mammadov, SOCAR Vice President for Refining, Tofig Gahramanov, SOCAR Vice President for Strategic Development, Domenico D’Elia, Vice President & Chairman, Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions, representatives of Air Liquide management Jörg Ott and Benjamin Bugeat, as well as representatives of Oil and Gas Processing Complex and SOCAR-KBR attended the signing ceremony. The agreement was signed by Elman Ismayilov, Director of Oil Refinery and Domenico D’Elia, Vice President & Chairman, Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions. According to the agreement, Air Liquide will prepare process design package and then start the construction of high-purity (99.9%) hydrogen production unit. Paris-based Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions designs, develops and produces industrial gas production units for production, conversion and purification of industrial gas to optimize use of natural resources, according to SOCAR.
