The FINANCIAL — Peter Bolstorff, internationally recognised Supply Chain educator and author, will share how successful organisations meet the modern day challenges of globalisation and volatility in the Supply Chain environment.
As the former technical chair and member of the Board of Directors of the Supply-Chain Council, Peter has been involved with the development of the Supply Chain Operations Reference model since its inception.
His third book, Supply Chain Excellence: A Handbook for Dramatic Improvement Using the SCOR Model, 3rd Edition, AMACOM 2012, has been adapted for Global projects and SAP, is due out in December 2011. The Supply Chain Council has endorsed his Supply Chain Excellence Methodology as the most comprehensive for supply chain improvement projects.
Peter has worked on over 100 supply chain improvement projects; some key examples include Amway, United States Defence Forces, Coca Cola, DHL, 3M, Disney, Johnson and Johnson, Kohler Company, Lenovo and Lockheed Martin.
He is an accomplished academic, Six Sigma Black Belt, international consultant and frequent keynote speaker. Peter is in New Zealand as part of an international speaking and teaching tour.
