The FINANCIAL — On 26 March 2015, Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister Davit Jalagania received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Georgia H.E. Bin Yue.
Discussions focused on important issues on the agenda of bilateral relations between Georgia and China. Special accent was put on the importance of deepening contacts within the framework of the New Silk Road Economic Belt Project as well as on prospects for future co-operation. The Ambassador reaffirmed his Government’s readiness to take part in the Silk Road Forum due to be held in Tbilisi in 2015.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamically developing trade-economic relations between the two countries highlighting the huge potential for Chinese investments in Georgia, according to MFA Georgia.

Special attention was also paid to the importance of exchanging high-level visits between the two countries during 2015.
