Transporter LLC, an official distributor of recreational, utility, leisure and sports products in Georgia, is continuing to promote a healthy and adventurous lifestyle in Georgia and is introducing new brands that are focused on recreation and motorcycle products.
Transporter was founded in 2015. In 2016, Transporter became an official distributor of Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) and all of its brands (Ski-Doo, Can-Am, Can-Am Spyder, See-Doo, Lynx and Evinrude).
Since 2017, Transporter exclusively distributes Japanese motorcycle brand Kawasaki and French mountain resorts development company MND Group and all of its business sectors (LST, MBS, TechFun, TAS and SUFAG) in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan; Dutch water sports products brand Jobe Watersports, inflatable boat manufacturer Grand Boats and pleasure boat brand Quicksilver Boats in Georgia.
Currently, Transporter Group is an official distributor of more than 80 international brands in the region including: Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug, Bartholet, Multi Skiliftbau, Kymco, Husqvarna, Gardena, Argo, GBH Design, Volvo Penta, Flagmore, CF Moto, Invictus Yacht, Carlisle and etc.
Transporter has been operating three showrooms – one in the capital, Tbilisi; one in the ski resort Bakuriani; and one in the seaside resort Batumi.
Transporter Group offers its customers: ATVs, SSVs, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, special vehicles, utility vehicles, scooters, motorcycles, bicycles, electric golf carts, electric buses, lawn maintenance equipment, construction equipment, pleasure boats, boat engines, water sport products, large vessel engines, power generators, tires, spare parts, accessories, apparel, renting services and mountain resort development solutions.
Besides these products Transporter operates service center with experienced technical personnel who qualify for the highest standards and are officially certified by the companies that Transporter represents. The service centre provides full repair and maintenance service not only for the vehicles and products distributed by Transporter, but also for the vehicles of other brands.
Furthermore, Transporter operates a Mobile Repair Service Unit, which can perform repair services at any location in Georgia.

This year Transporter received its first Golden Brand award, becoming the Georgia’s No1 brand in its segment. Over 100 experts and 2,000 surveyed customers of Golden Brand chose Transporter as their favourite brand.
Q. Transporter is represented in Tbilisi, Bakuriani and Batumi. What are the company’s activities in each of these towns of Georgia?
A. In Tbilisi we have a central showroom, service centre and an office, while in Bakuriani and Batumi Transporter is represented with showrooms where all our products are presented in full.
Despite the fact that consumer activity in Bakuriani and Batumi is lower compared to Tbilisi, we believe that we these showrooms are essential for the dynamic development of our activities and products throughout the territory of Georgia.
Modern technologies and social media enable us to cover the whole region. Besides advertising Transporter team is constantly communicating with our customers and answering all the questions they have.
We can even receive orders and deliver the products to our customers at home.
Q. Are you going to expand and enter any new towns of Georgia?
A. Yes, we are going to expand and enter new towns, and increase our presence in the regions. The existing branches in Batumi and Bakuriani convinced us that we need to be represented in other resort cities too.
Q. Could you please tell us what the sales statistics were in 2018-2017 and which of your products was the most in demand on the market?
A. The sales statistics were as follows:
2017 – 21.5%;
2018 – 15%;
and in the first quarter of 2019 – 17%.
As for the most highly demanded products, these are the products of BRP, Kawasaki, Husqvarna and Gardena.
To note, lately interest has grown towards electric technologies, specifically towards electric buses.
Q. Tell us about the level of competition in your field and how the Georgian market is growing?
A. The Georgian market is now in the stage of establishment and development. The legislative framework is not yet perfect but we are trying to contribute to the right development of the market.
In general, there is an overall increase in demand for recreational products. Furthermore, the market starts to value and appreciate quality products which we are providing.
It is important that the Government acts in a timely manner and provides effective regulation for market growth by following modern experience.
Q. Congratulations on winning a Golden Brand award. This was the first Golden Brand win for Transporter. What has been your impression – what led Transporter to this success?
A. Yes, it is our first Golden Brand award. When you do your best to meet the needs of your customers, satisfy their demands and offer them a wide choice, it is logical that your efforts become notable to others. Moreover, we do not have many such examples on our market of a company being so customer-oriented.
