Ukraine: Official Level Of Unemployment In February Remains At 1.9%

The FINANCIAL — In February 2010, the official level of unemployment remained at the level of January at 1.9%, the State Statistics Committee said.

The committee said that as of March 1, the State employment service of Ukraine registered 0.530 million of unemployed people.

As of February 1, the service registered 0.527 million of unemployed people.

The number of unemployed people who obtained state aid in February was 411,100 and the average aid was UAH 666.60.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in January, the official unemployment level remained at the level of December 2009 and made up 1.9%.
