The FINANCIAL — Within the framework of the Georgian Foreign Minister’s visit to Japan, Mikheil Janelidze held meetings at the Japanese Robot Association and at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan).
The aim of the meetings was to discuss opportunities of cooperation with Japan in the areas of high technologies, robotix and science.
At the Japanese Robot Association, the Georgian delegation met with General Manager Shigeaki Yanai and Executive Director Hiroshi Fujiwara, according to MFS of Georgia.
The Georgian delegation was provided with information on the opportunities of using modern robotix technologies in the fields of industry, medicine and environment. The Georgian side spoke about Georgia’s experience in high technologies expressing its intention to deepen co-operation with Japan.
Mikheil Janelidze invited the Executive Director of the Association to Georgia. The Japanese side, for its part, extended to the Georgian delegation an invitation to the international exhibition of robots due to take place in November in 2017.
At the the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan), the Georgian delegation met with Chief Executive Director Mamoru Mori. Discussions focused on the possibilities of co-operation in the areas of science and technologies. Mamoru Mori expressed his interest in inviting Georgian students and scientists for participation in various projects implemented by the Museum, including in the „SCWS 2017” Forum.
The same day, the Georgian Foreign Minister visited the Hitachi international corporation where he met with representatives of the Company management.
