The FINANCIAL — First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili held a meeting with the delegation of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber headed by the Vice President Richard Schenz.
Georgia-Austria trade and economic relations and cooperation in such priority sectors for Georgia as mountain tourism were the main aspects of the conversation which also covered issues related to cooperation in energy sector, trade, innovations, professional education, etc.
Georgia-Austria Business Forum conducted in B2B format was given more than positive evaluation by the parties. The Forum was attended by 26 leading Austrian and over 100 Georgian companies. Austrian business delegation members rep[resented the following sectors: hydro-electricity, production of detectors, taps and similar measuring instruments, fire alarms and taxometer, arrangement and management of sports complexes, machine building, packaging machinery, solid waste processing technologies, etc.
Vice President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber invited the First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia and Georgian business sector to the Business Forum in Austria, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Giorgi Cherkezishvili and the President of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nino Chikovani also attended the meeting.
