The FINANCIAL — flydubai which launched daily flights from Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow (SVO) in November 2017 is now offering passengers from Russia the opportunity to be the first passengers to enjoy a new travel experience on board the airline’s latest aircraft model its Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
The Dubai-based carrier unveiled its first Boeing 737 MAX 8 at the Dubai Airshow in November 2017. flydubai placed the largest single-aisle aircraft orders in the region during the 2013 and 2017 editions of the Dubai Airshow. The airline currently has up to 296 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft on order to be delivered over the next decade. With the forthcoming aircraft deliveries, the new model will become available for more passengers on more routes across the flydubai network.
With the introduction of the new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, flydubai has launched a new cabin offering which now features a flat-bed in Business Class and in addition to the extra space and privacy, passengers can sleep comfortably during their flight. Economy Class offers new RECARO seats, which are designed to optimise space and comfort so passengers can sit back, relax and enjoy their flight. flydubai also offers exceptional inflight entertainment with a full HD, 11.6-inch screen, featuring a wide selection of movies, TV shows, music and games in English, Arabic and Russian. In addition, the Boeing Sky interior with its gently-sculpted sidewalls and its smooth-flowing lines provides passengers with a more relaxing travel environment, according to flydubai.

flydubai launched daily flights from Sheremetyevo in November 2017 offering direct flights to Dubai. flydubai’s current network in Russia with 11 points in 10 cities includes Kazan, Krasnodar, Makhachkala, Mineralnye Vody, Moscow (Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo), Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Ufa, Voronezh and Yekaterinburg.
With more than 100 destinations in 46 countries, flydubai offers passengers from Russia more opportunities to connect onwards to popular destinations including Colombo (Sri Lanka) and Zanzibar (Tanzania) via Dubai’s aviation hub. Emirates will codeshare on the Sheremetyevo route and as part of the Emirates flydubai partnership, passengers will have greater choice for onward travel from Dubai to hundreds of destinations across the world.

flydubai flights FZ 917/918 operate daily between Sheremetyevo International Airport, Terminal E (SVO) and Dubai International, Terminal 2 (DXB).
Business Class return fares from Sheremetyevo to Dubai start at RUB 107,147 and are inclusive of all taxes and 40kg checked baggage. Economy Class return fares start at RUB 18,230 including 7kg hand baggage.
